Yes. The change goes through WooCommerce’s own status update, so status e-mails, stock adjustments and hooks from other plugins fire exactly as they do on the order screen.
Will my custom order statuses show up?
Yes. The dropdown reads every status WooCommerce has registered, including the ones added by shipping, payment or subscription plugins.
What happens if a change can’t be saved?
The dropdown reverts to the previous status and tells you why, so nothing looks changed when it isn’t.
Is there anything to set up?
No settings screen. Install it and the status badges in the orders list become dropdowns. It works with HPOS and with classic orders.
Is it really free?
Yes — free on every site you run, with no expiry and no upsell wall. You install it through the free Wexofy Hub, which creates an unlimited licence for it automatically.
How do I install it?
Download the Hub, install and activate it, open Wexofy → “Get the free plugins” and press Install. From then on it updates in wp-admin like any other plugin.
Moving an order from Processing to Completed usually means opening it, finding the status box, changing it and saving – one order at a time. Quick Order Status skips all of that: the status badge WooCommerce already shows in the orders list turns into a dropdown you can change without leaving the screen.

Nothing is hard-coded. Whatever wc_get_order_statuses() returns — including statuses added by your shipping, payment or subscription plugins — shows up in the dropdown automatically.

Every change goes through the same status-update flow as WooCommerce’s own order screen, so status-change hooks, emails and stock adjustments other plugins depend on keep firing exactly as before. A failed save reverts the dropdown and tells you why.
