VAT invoices and proformas as real PDFs

The invoice a customer receives — numbering, tax wording, language and look are all settings. Switch to the proforma to see the bank-transfer flow.

Sample order with a made-up seller and buyer. The real PDF is generated on your server; nothing leaves it.

Invoices

Invoices generates a proper VAT invoice PDF for every completed order – its own numbering series, a VAT breakdown per rate, and reverse-charge wording for validated EU VAT numbers. The PDF is rendered with a bundled Dompdf (no external service), attached to the completed-order e-mail, and downloadable from My Account and the order screen.

Built for LT / EU bookkeeping

  • Continuous or per-year numbering series you control.
  • Seller and buyer requisites, including company code and VAT number for B2B.
  • Amount in words in Lithuanian.
  • Reverse charge (0 % VAT) wording when the buyer has a valid EU VAT number.

Credit notes and an accounting export (CSV / XML) are on the roadmap.

Changelog

v2.1.0
  • New: credit notes for refunds — own series and numbering (Settings > Invoices > Pro features), made automatically when you refund an invoiced order, attached to the "Refunded order" e-mail, listed with View / Regenerate in the order's Invoice box, and included in the accountant export (PDF and CSV) with minus amounts. With the free plugin's e-invoices on, each credit note is also a UBL / Peppol CreditNote XML referring to the original invoice. A refund by amount only gets one line with the VAT split like the order's. Needs Wexofy Invoices for WooCommerce 1.1.0.
  • Fix: Pro text on a PDF (credit notes) now follows the invoice language too.
  • Fix: in the accountant export, the amount-in-words label or reverse-charge wording of one invoice could carry over to the next one in the file.
v2.0.1
  • New: four PDF designs — Modern, Bold, Elegant, Compact — and a "PDF design" settings section: text size, logo height, paper size, PAID stamp, which columns and blocks to show, custom CSS. Needs Wexofy Invoices for WooCommerce 1.0.1.
  • New: amount in words in 28 European languages (Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian), with the label in the same language and an "Amount in words language" setting. English and Lithuanian keep their wording; the others read "<number> EUR 56/100".
  • Fix: the amount in words now follows the invoice language setting instead of the admin language.

Questions about Invoices

Something not covered here? Pre-sale questions are answered by the developer — we aim to reply within one business day.

Ask a question
When is the invoice created?

Automatically, when the order is Completed (or Processing — your choice), with a sequential, gap-free number. The PDF is attached to the WooCommerce e-mail and customers can download it from My Account.

Does it handle bank transfers and proforma invoices?

Yes. Enable the bank-transfer gateway and the customer gets a proforma with your bank details and a payment reference. Then Bank reconciliation matches an uploaded statement (CAMT.053 XML or CSV) to unpaid orders by reference and amount, and issues the final invoice once you confirm.

What about VAT and EU reverse charge?

Tax amounts come straight from WooCommerce’s own tax settings — the plugin never calculates tax itself. For a business in another EU country with a VAT number and no VAT on the order, the invoice prints the Article 196 reverse-charge wording; a VIES check of the number is optional.

Can I issue an invoice that is not linked to an order?

Yes. Manual invoices let you type the buyer’s details and pick products from your store or type item and service lines by hand.

Can I give everything to my accountant?

Yes. Invoice export downloads every invoice in a date range as one PDF with a summary page, or as a CSV for accounting software.

What happens after the first year?

The plugin keeps working exactly as before — we never disable anything remotely. Updates and support pause until you renew. We e-mail you 30 and 7 days ahead with a renewal link at 30% off, and nothing is ever charged automatically. Or choose Lifetime and never renew.

Can I pay once instead of every year?

Yes. Pick Lifetime above: one payment of 2.5× the yearly price, no renewals, and updates and support for as long as the plugin is maintained. Compared with renewing yearly, it becomes the cheaper option from year 4.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes — 30 days. If the plugin does not work for your store, we refund the full amount, as long as the licence has been activated on no more than one production site. It covers Lifetime licences too. Details are in the refund policy.

Do staging and local sites use up a licence slot?

No. Sites on localhost, *.local, *.test and subdomains named staging or dev do not count. A licence moves between sites any time: deactivate the old one under My Account → Licences, then activate the new one.
